On June 1, 2007, the Prime Minister signed the Decision No. 80/2007/QĐ-TTg regulating the process of inter-operating Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, and Thac Ba reservoirs in the flood season. The decision regulates the inter-operation of the three reservoirs from June 15 to September 15 every year. This aims to ensure safety of structures, safety of flood control for the downstream, and safety of power generation.
