Ha Noi (VNA) A signing ceremony of a Japan-funded project to build irrigation systems and water pumping and transformer stations in Thanh Binh commune, Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province, took place on October 20, 2005 in Ha Noi.
The project, worth 90,342 USD, is part of Japans non-refundable aid for developing rural areas in Viet Nam in the 2005 fiscal year.
The pumping station is expected to supply adequate water for farming, increasing productivity and improving the local peoples living conditions.
